COVID STRIKES FRIENDLY SHOW TUNE COMPETITION BUT THE SHOWDOWN MUST GO ON!!

This persistent pandemic has forced the team from Orpheus Musical Theatre to withdraw from the 15th edition of the musical theatre performance competition leaving two teams to compete, but the Showdown Must Go On!

Ottawa’s Tone Cluster–quite a queer choir is adding another performance round to the show and the other two teams, Ain’t Seen Noth’n Yet and Zucchini Productions are rehearsing their back up songs now to make Show Tune Showdown a fierce but friendly yet always spectacular two team competition.

In just two days, the 15th edition of Show Tune Showdown™ takes to the stage and our enthusiastic audience will be sure to be tapping their toes to the performances in this unique Broadway-themed musical theatre performance competition.

We will definitely miss the amazing Orpheus Musical Theatre this year and look forward to welcoming them to our next Show Tune Showdown, scheduled for April 22, 2023.

The curtain will rise for Show Tune Showdown™ at 7:30 pm on Saturday, April 23rd at Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe (main stage), Ben Franklin Place, 101 Centrepointe Drive, Ottawa.

Box Office: 613-580-2701

Tickets are available now for $35 including service fees.

All proceeds go to support Tone Cluster including its season of choral concerts, community and festival appearances.
