During this unprecedented time, many people have stepped up to the plate and done extraordinary things to help our community cope with COVID-19. Orpheus Musical Theatre would like to SHINE a spotlight ON these stars by asking our members to nominate them for a chance to win a special Orpheus prize.
Nomination process
Nominations must come from a member of Orpheus; however, anyone in the National Capital or Outaouais regions can be nominated.
Nominees could include health care workers, teachers, grocery workers, volunteers or any another person that is working hard and helping out during this challenging period.
To nominate someone, please email marketing@orpheus-theatre.ca by Thursday, December 31 2020. In your email, please include your full name as well as the name of the person you are nominating and why you are nominating them (maximum 250 words).
We’ll review the nominees and winners will be announced in January 2021.
Prize
Each winner will receive the following:
4 (four) tickets to an upcoming Orpheus Musical Theatre production
An invitation to the Opening Night reception with the cast and crew
A featured profile on the Orpheus Musical Theatre website as well as in our Orpheus Lyre newsletter
Photo and name published in a future Orpheus show programme
The number of winners will depend on how many nominations we receive, up to a maximum of five.
Note: The idea for this project comes from a contest that Broadway Across Canada held earlier this year. We thought it was so great that we decided we would do one of our own!
