Orpheus Schoolhouse will open its doors throughout the summer, expanding access to musical theatre education and creating new opportunities for young performers.
This year, we’re excited to introduce three Summer Camps offered completely free of charge, ensuring that every child has access to fun, dynamic, and supportive artistic experiences.
At Orpheus, we believe that quality arts education should be available to all. The Orpheus Schoolhouse is designed to provide advanced training led by accredited, experienced instructors, while keeping costs as low and accessible as possible.
In addition to our free summer programming, our flexible pricing model throughout the school year includes discounts for Orpheus Members, Pay-What-You-Want options, and bursaries, so that every young artist can participate, grow, and thrive in a positive and inclusive environment.
*Orpheus Schoolhouse courses all year long are intentionally the lowest priced in town to ensure affordability and accessibility for all. PAY WHAT YOU WANT options are intended for those who require the accommodation. If you can afford the full price, we ask that you be honest and leave the PWYW options for those in need. This camp is a joyful, high-energy introduction to the world of musical theatre—designed especially for young performers who are ready to imagine, create, and have fun! In a supportive and playful environment, campers will build confidence and creativity through theatre games, group singing, and expressive movement, all while discovering how stories come to life on stage.
Each day is packed with engaging activities in acting, singing, and dance, giving campers a well-rounded taste of the performing arts. Through games and collaborative exercises, they’ll explore storytelling, learn songs filled with rhythm and expression, and use movement to bring characters to life.
The week builds toward a fun and informal performance for parents and guests, where campers will have the chance to share what they’ve created and celebrate their accomplishments.

Through acting, singing, and dance, campers will build confidence, creativity, and stage presence as they bring characters and stories to life in a fun, supportive environment.
Each day is filled with engaging activities across acting, singing, and dance, giving campers the chance to grow as well-rounded performers. Through games, group work, and creative exploration, they’ll dive into character work, strengthen their singing and breath control, and learn choreography that helps tell a story on stage.
The week builds toward an exciting end-of-camp performance for parents and guests, where campers will showcase what they’ve learned and celebrate their progress together.

This camp is an exciting, high-energy experience for young performers ready to take their musical theatre skills to the next level, all while having fun and getting creative. Campers will dive deeper into how acting, singing, and dance come together to create powerful storytelling on stage, building confidence, collaboration, and strong ensemble skills along the way.
Each day is filled with engaging work in acting, singing, and dance. Through games, rehearsals, and creative exploration, campers will develop more detailed characters, strengthen vocal technique and harmony skills, and learn more complex choreography that brings stories to life.
As an added bonus, campers will also receive an introduction to theatrical design, exploring elements like costumes, sets, and visual storytelling, helping them understand what goes on behind the scenes to make a performance truly shine.
The week builds toward a final performance for parents and guests, where campers will showcase their work and celebrate everything they’ve created together.
Whether building on previous experience or stepping into more advanced training for the first time, this camp offers a fun, supportive, and inspiring environment to grow as a performer and artist.
