ABOUT THE SHOW
Singer Deloris hopes to make it to the big time but, instead, unwittingly witnesses a murder in Philadelphia. For her own safety, she is placed into hiding at a convent until the trial. At first, Deloris
feels out of place and unhappy but the mood soon shifts from depressing to blessing as Deloris finds acceptance, sisterhood, and hope with the convent’s struggling choir.
